David MOQUET is the Manager of the Automation and Research Department at ACTEMIUM on the Pau site. Self-taught when it comes to BlueKanGo, he explains how the platform has become essential to digitize their processes.

At Actemium, we install electricity, instrumentation and automation in new construction and maintenanceWe intervene in different sectors, from gas transportation, to chemistry, oil, pharmacy and hydroelectricity. We are ISO 9001 and 14001 certified on the 2015 version. 110 employees are currently working on various sites, including around 40 at the headquarters in Pardies. The Automation and Research Department is composed of 10 people, 4 technicians in the automation department and 6 in the research department.

As the department manager, I am mainly in touch with business managers, who are in direct relation with customers. We help them provide solutions to our customers. We are a transversal service within Actemium.


 

The initial project: Making information accessible to all


The initial idea was to centralize and make information accessible to everyone, including the Quality / Safety documentation. We have a high proportion of long-distance collaborators on different sites or for some directly at the customer’s place. So, we started by setting up an online document management, almost 5 years ago. Since then, we went much further ...

We have digitized the training management, access to sites, professional interviews, business management for quotation, the making of the site file as well as the management of subcontractors and even recently the management of vehicles. We also manage event sheets that trigger or not action sheets. And several other management sheets (first aid statement, suggestion box, ...)


 

Digitalization with BlueKanGo


SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) is the starting point. Having a solution accessible from anywhere with a simple login / password was the prerequisite and BlueKanGo is based on this model. Another aspect is the fact of being able to give unlimited access to the platform. It's a very interesting element. We have more users than employees ...

The App Creation Workshop is also a big plus. It is relatively simple. I am self-taught when it comes to the platform. I maintain and I create applications that will be useful to everyone. We always achieve our ends with a result that will please the end user. I recently worked on the vehicle sheet directly with the employees concerned. They are very satisfied.
